What can I customize on the Signature Invitations?
You can make any invitation in my Signature Collection uniquely yours by choosing your favorite colors, fonts, wording, and paper. You choose the invitation design and I customize them with the your selections. Don’t forget to choose coordinating pieces for the wedding day stationery! Any item (wedding program, favors, wedding signage) can be designed to match the invitation you choose!
How long do the Signature Invitations take?
Clients that order from the signature collection will receive their proof within 5 business days. The invitations will be delivered within 3-5 weeks after final proof approval. I recommend ordering 5 months prior to your wedding so we have time for proofing and edits. I like to have your invitations in your hands 10 weeks before your wedding.
What about rush orders?
I can work with you if you need your invitations sooner than the estimated time frame. Just let me know the date you want your invitations in hand and we can work from there. Rush orders can be processed if needed for an additional fee.
How many invitations should I order?
Once you have your guest list determined, think of it in terms of households. You’ll typically send one invitation to each household (with a few exceptions). For example, if you have 200 guests, you won’t need 200 invitations. It’s more likely you’ll need around 90-100. Each family, couple, person + 1, will get 1 invitation. Once you have your invitation count, add 10%. These extra invitations will be crucial if you have last minute guest list additions or if any of the invites are returned in the mail due to a wrong address. You also don’t want to forget one for the photographer so they will be able to photograph them! It is always better to have a few extra then not enough. Keep in mind that ordering extra at a later date is very expensive and will also take time to print and assemble.
What other coordinating pieces should I order with my invitations?
Some options include save-the-date cards, ceremony programs, menu cards, place cards, event signage, favor sign or hangtag, thank you notes, etc… The list could go on and on. If you have something in mind that you don’t see on this website, contact me and let’s chat about it!
What is your cancellation policy?
If your event in cancelled after the deposit is given and the design work has begun, your deposit is non-refundable. Once the final payment is made, supplies are ordered and the printing/assembly process begins. After the final payment is made, no refunds are given.
